Interim and Summer Empoyee Housing

Residents of all URI residence halls, apartments and suites must vacate their rooms by noon on Wednesday, May 13th. However, since our Interim Housing and Student Employee Housing buildings will not be ready for check-in until 3:00 pm please follow the following transition instructions.

TRANSITION INSTRUCTIONS:

Contact your hall director to confirm that your name is on the Interim/Student Employee Housing List and to schedule your check out time with them.

Have your belongings packed, on your bed and ready to go by noon on May 13th. You may keep your things in your academic year room only until you check into your Interim/Summer room.

Interim/Summer Employee Check In will start of 3 PM. Locations are:

  • Merrow Hall lounge for Interim/Senior Housing
  • Aldrich Hall lounge for Student Employees and Extended Season athletes (Baseball, Men and Women’s Track and Field)

Move your belongings into your Interim/Summer room assignments.

Finish cleaning / sweeping your academic year room and your bathroom where applicable.

Check out of your academic year room with your RA or Hall Director by 6 PM on May 13th. Failure to check out with your hall staff will be considered an illegal check out and you will be charged $75 for the required lock/combo change.
